Subscription Documents Completion Instructions
How the process works
To successfully complete the subscription process to ensure the investment, prospective investors are required to follow the steps outlined in this short guide. Please ensure that all necessary information and subscription documents are filled out accurately and completely.
Project page:
Define your investment and specify the desired investment amount. Enter the total investment amount on the project page, which will be subsequently converted into the corresponding class units.
- Class A: The Development Funding
- Class B: The Production Funding
Please note that certain projects may not require development funding, and such investment options will not be available. Any exceptions will be described on the project page.
- Provide your full name, address, email address, tax identification or social security number, telephone number, and any other pertinent contact information.
- If you qualify as an accredited investor, please mark the appropriate checkbox.
- Respond to all mandatory queries in the designated section.
- The Investor Questionnaire is obligatory and must be completed online on the checkout page.
You are required to upload a signed and dated Form W-9 or the equivalent form applicable in your country of residence, in a PDF or any other readable format, during the checkout page.
Please download and fill the W-9 form if you are resident in US, or send us its equivalent
Finalize the automation online by selecting “Confirm” on the checkout page. Following this step, we will proceed offline to complete the process.
The following documents are required to be sent via email to submissions@horizoncapitalclub.com after the confirmation of your investment:
- For corporations: Submit certified corporate resolutions authorizing the subscription and identifying the corporate officer authorized to sign the Subscription Documents.
- For partnerships: Provide a certified copy of the partnership certificate (in the case of limited partnerships) or partnership agreement identifying the general partners.
- For limited liability companies: Submit a copy of your operating agreement identifying the manager or managing member, as applicable.
- For trusts: Provide a copy of the trust agreement.
You will receive the documents to sign online on our platform before finalizing the payment prior to our approval. These collectively constitute the “Subscription Documents.”

Upon our approval, you will be sent an invoice with options for secure payment. Once the payment clears all documentation, we will send the fully signed copy to you to confirm the validity and the beginning of the collaboration. If you have any inquiries or need assistance throughout this process, please do not hesitate to contact our team. Your investment is subject to approval, and we are here to assist you every step of the way.
The Timeline
Budget
Every project has a detailed budget that outlines all of the expenses associated with producing the film. Additionally, each project utilizes waterfall projections, which estimate the potential revenue generated by the film and establish the priority order for revenue distribution among stakeholders.
Revenue streams
Film investment is based on the potential revenue streams that the project can generate, which may include theatrical release, streaming and digital distribution, as well as AVOD (Advertising-Based Video On Demand), VOD (Video On Demand), and other digital distribution avenues.
Investment terms
We will provide you with all the necessary legal documentation, including a subscription agreement and shareholder agreement.
Financing
Film financing is a critical step in the process of bringing film projects to fruition. It involves securing funding for each project, and establishing dedicated escrow accounts for each film. This ensures that the necessary funds are available for production.
Marketing and distribution
Once the film is completed, our dedicated team takes charge of marketing and distributing the film to maximize its revenue potential. We have a network of experienced sales agents and established relationships with distributors worldwide, allowing us to secure the best value for our film.
Returns on investment
Your investment will yield returns through a share of the film's profits. The extent of your return depends on your investment type. For development investments, you can enjoy a premium of either 40% prior to production. Equity investors share 50% of all ongoing revenues after ROI and premium defined
